I will be glad if Multichoice, the operator of DSTV can educate the public on the justification of making it impossible for a customer to suspend his/her account if/when necessary. The practice of running my subscription even when out of my home location for weeks is, to me, fraudulent.
I should be able to suspend my account if I wouldn’t be available. I also think it is high time the company had toll-free lines for complaints rather than make customers “pay” by using their airtime. The Consumers’ Protection Council should please look into this rip-off.
