EX-OYO GOVERNOR, ALAO-AKALA SPEAKES ON HIS 2015 GUBER AMBITION!

Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, a former Oyo State governor, has said in the forthcoming Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries, he is the man who will streamline the number of aspirants for the state governorship election.

Alao-Akala disclosed this yesterday while responding to a call by the 5 local governments in Ogbomoso calling him to contest 2015 governorship election.

A leader of the party in the area, Chief Adebayo Oyewusi, a.k.a Omiya informed journalists after the zonal meeting that the group decided to adopt Chief Alao-Akala because of his antecedents while in office.

While accepting the call of his people, Alao-Akala said: “Charity begins at home. The journey has just begun. I’ve accepted their request, I can’t do otherwise. Sooner than later, I will come out and tell the whole world. I am the best person to put a stop to the race from becoming an all-comers race and I will make my intention known in few days’ time. I am coming to stabilise Oyo politics. When I return, I know I have only four years but I will put up a structure that will enable that PDP continue to rule Oyo State forever.”
