Ahead the August 9 guber election in Osun, fully armed operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS), numbering about 900, have arrived Osogbo, the state capital, as part of the security measures aimed at ensuring a hitch-free conduct of the election. Armed to the teeth, some of the DSS operatives were seen driving round Osogbo in Toyota Hiace buses and Toyota Hilux vans, while some were seen along Gbongan-Ibadan expressway.
