ASIWAJU BOLA TINUBU AND PROF. LARRY DIAMOND IDENTIFY NIGERIA's PROBLEMS AT DEMOCRACY LECTURE!

On June 30, 2014 at the Shell Hall of MUSON Centre Onika, Lagos, Freedom House, an independent non-governmental organization that aims at supporting the expansion of freedom all over the world, held the maiden edition of its democracy Lecture Series.

Themed “Nigeria’s Governance Predicament: Poverty, Terrorism and Democracy,” the Lecture was delivered by a renowned American scholar, political scientist and an author, Prof. Larry Diamond. Prof. Diamond is the Director, Centre on Democracy, Development and The Rule of Law, Stanford University, USA.

The event which was anchored by former editor of NEXT Newspaper, Kadaria Ahmed, had Lt. General Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau (Retd) as chairman while the man behind the event, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, ex-Governor of Lagos State, gave the welcome speech.
