JIM OVIA RETURNS TO ZENITH BANK!

JIM OVIA APPOINTED ZENITH BANK CHAIRMAN!

Mr. Jim Ovia, pioneer Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank Plc, has been appointed board chairman and non- executive director of the bank.

This was contained in statement issued by the bank in Lagos yesterday. The statement signed by the bank’s group Managing Director, Mr Peter Amangbo, stated that Ovia takes over from Mr.Steve Omojafor who resigned last month.

The appointment, which has been approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), takes effect from today, 16th July 2014. Zenith Bank also appointed Mr Olusola Oladipo as an Executive Director.
