POPULAR LAGOS LAWYER STABBED TO DEATH IN SITTING ROOM!

Barrister Kunle Fadipe, a human rights activist and community leader based in Lagos,  was on Thursday night, 3rd July, 2014 murdered in cold blood by a lone assailant inside his sitting room at Harmony Estate, College Road, Ogba, Lagos. Fadipe was severely stabbed on the left side of the neck, left side of his armpit, and the stomach.The assailant is said to have stabbed the lawyer’s son Folarin and his mother-in-law.



Though the assailant was subsequently arrested and taken to the Olowosokedile Police Station, he reportedly gained access into the home by scaling the fence and attacked Folarin who had opened the door to switch off the generator. Folarin was badly wounded as he sustained deep cuts on the head and his right wrist.The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Ngozi Braide confirmed the incident, while she said investigation into the case had commenced.
