The death has been announced of Alhaja Halimotu Ladoja, mother of former governor of Oyo State and national leader of the Accord Party, Senator Rashidi Ladoja. The Ladoja matriarch passed away at about 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, during a brief illness. She was aged 94 years. According to Islamic rites, she is to be buried today, Thursday, 28 August 2014.
