The only son of the late former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Agagu, Feyi, who survived the 3rd October 2013 Associated Airlines plane crash in Lagos, is back on his feet. Feyi had sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash that left several passengers & crew on board dead. Since his narrow escape, he has been away on treatment and on recovery, off the scene. The good news is that the scion of the Agagu family has pioneered a lecture in memory of his late father as part of a series of solemn events designed to mark the 1st memorial anniversary.
On Saturday, 13th September 2014, at 12 noon, former President of Botswana, His Excellency Festus Mogae will deliver a keynote address at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan. Ex-president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is Chairman of the event. Also expected as panelists are Hon. Aminu Tambuwal(Speaker, House of Representatives); Mrs. Omobola Johnson(Minister of Communications & Technology); Mr. Oba Otudeko( Chairman, Honeywell Group); and Mr. Donald Duke (former Cross River State governor). There will be a thanksgiving service at the Chapel of the Resurrection, University of Ibadan by 10am before the memorial lecture.
