A male lecturer (names withheld) at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria was caught on Sunday(14 September) night at a private female hostel in Samaru, Zaria. According to reports, he disguised by wearing Hijab (veil) and attempted to sneak into the hostel before he was intercepted. This was not the first time the lecturer was entering the hostel to visit his girl friend who is said to have given her consent despite the hostel owner’s order barring men from entering the rooms. On being intercepted, the lecturer was handed over to a team of army personnel manning a check point close to the university and his house was then ransacked by the officers.
