EBOLA: DISEASE CLAIMS FIRST AMERICAN VICTIM AS DALLAS PATIENT DIES

The first Ebola patient diagnosed in the United States – Thomas Eric Duncan – has died, officials have said.

He lost the battle for his life this morning (October 8) in the Dallas hospital he was being treated since September 28 when he arrived from Liberia, hospital spokesman – Wendell Watson – said.

Duncan’s condition grew worse on Saturday (October 4) as it went from serious to critical. Meanwhile, all four people living in the northeast Dallas apartment where Duncan stayed have been isolated in a private residence.
