Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka(GNI), a governorship aspirant of the Labour Party(LP), Ogun State, has formally dumped the party for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).GNI has also indicated interest to contest the governorship seat on the platform of PDP during the 2015 general election. GNI, who spoke at the state headquarters of the party in Abeokuta, on Monday, where he had gone to pick Expression of Interest Form, noted that the state had been poorly administered in the last three and a half years.
A former governorship candidate of the Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN) in the 2011 general election in the state, he said the party is the only way to victory in the forthcoming elections. According to him, “stomach infrastructure”, would be part of peoples welfare that would be vigorously pursued by his government if voted to power.In his words, “I have been through a lot of agonising situation in the last six weeks, about what to do about this re-alignment issue. I have consulted widely within and outside my constituency and came to the conclusion that PDP is the way to victory in the 2015 elections.”
