‘Support My Son As Governor If God Gives Him The Mandate’ – Plateau Gov., Jonah Jang
The Plateau State governor, Jonah Jang has appealed to the citizens to support whoever God chooses as the state governor even if it is “the son of Jang.” Though Jang is yet to disclose who he will be anointing as his successor, there are indications that his son may join the race soon. Speaking at the commissioning of the “Emanci-pator Unity House” built in honour of late Solomon Lar in Jos, Jang said, “If God decides to give the governorship to the son of Jang, let it be. Whoever God anoints, let’s accept it.” This statement by Jang comes to the closest on who will succeed as his son as Yakubu, is serving as his special adviser on special duties. It is believed in some circles that Yakubu could be the one referred to by Jang.
