2 Ex-Nigeria Military President’S Sons Battle For 2015 Governorship PDP Ticket

In the PDP governorship primaries for the 2015 election in Kano, Alhaji Abba Mohammed would contest for the PDP ticket with the son of late military Head of State, Alhaji Mohammed Abacha, and other aspirants.

Alhaji Abba Mohammed is the son of late former Head of State, Gen. Murtala Muhammed while Alhaji Mohammed Abacha is the son of Late General Sani Abacha.

  
Mohammed, who was a Special Assistant to former President Olusegun Obasanjo on International Relations and Privatisation, was received by the PDP National Organising Secretary (NOS), Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha.

He said that electricity would be his focus while education, health and agriculture would also be developed with needed infrastructure for poverty eradication.

Mohammed would have contest for the PDP ticket with the son of late military Head of State, Alhaji Mohammed Abacha.

Alhaji Mohammed Abacha left PDP in 2010 for the Congress for Progressive Change, which he said he left due to lack of internal democracy. But came back to PDP and now aspiring for the Kano governorship ticket of the PDP in 2015.

The primaries is slated for Nov. 29 and whoever wins the ticket at the primaries becomes its candidate for the 2015 governorship election.
