PROGRAM / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for assisting in organizing and coordinating program activities, contributing to reports, and performing other programmatic duties as required.
Assist in the development of the program narrative reports. Take minutes of program meetings. Serve as rapporteur for program events, workshops and conferences.
Assist in the preparation and organization of events, workshops and conferences.
Assist in the collection of data for monitoring and evaluation of activities.
Assist with event preparation by providing administrative and logistics assistance.
Assist with sorting and distribution of newsletters. Clerical duties including filing, photocopying, scanning
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in governance, development or any social sciences
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in program management preferably on a democracy and governance project
Training experience including material development, design and implementation of training activities.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft.
Possess initiative, a positive attitude and have strong value for loyalty, respect for confidentiality and discretion, dependability.
Excellent oral and writing skills

FINANCE OFFICER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for managing of project finances and providing technical support to local partners on financial management and planning. Develop and track project and activity budgets.
Ensure that financial activities and reporting comply with internal and donor requirements.
Responsible for preparing and disbursement of participant travel reimbursement. Preparing of periodic financial reports and bank reconciliation.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and or financial management
Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in the financial management
In depth knowledge and experience on European Union financial management and financial reporting, sub-grants management and procedures.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft
Excellent oral and writing communication skill.

TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS OFFICER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for providing administrative and logistics arrangements for events – trainings, workshops, retreats, seminars etc. This will include locations, hotels, food, etc. Manage participant database. Assist in the procurement of training materials, preparing of purchase orders for all procurements. Travel logistics for staff and event participants. Manage appointments and meeting schedules at and outside of office.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business administration
At least 5 years work experience in a similar position.
Experience working on a USAID and or EU funded project strongly preferred.
Must have very good negotiation skills
Must have experience in inventory management
Computer proficiency in Microsoft
Excellent oral and writing communication skill

PROGRAM MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for developing, design and implementation of program activities supporting electoral violence prevention efforts at the national and state levels;
Implement project activities with a focus on community-level conflict mediation and mitigation, and civic and voter education campaigns;
Work closely with partner CSOs to plan and design trainings, town hall meetings and civic education events; Lead town hall meetings and civic education forums;
Assist with logistics and organization of trainings and special events;
Frequent travel to monitor sub-grantees and support trainings and town hall meetings throughout Nigeria;
Draft regular programmatic reports detailing activities and monitoring trips;
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor and/or Chief of Party.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, peace and conflict studies; international Relations; Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 7 years of experience in conflict mapping, mitigation and prevention, Experience in elections related conflict resolution and violence prevention is a plus
Experience in project management and training is a plus
Computer proficiency in Microsoft

DRIVER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Ensuring provision of reliable and secure driving services in driving office vehicles to transport project personnel. Receiving personnel, visitors at the airport, arranging and delivering of air tickets when required. Ensuring appropriate route planning and security measures.
Assist in dispatch. Maintaining vehicle and fuel logs to ensure the proper use of vehicles. Maintaining the condition of vehicles on a day-to-day basis, ensuring timely vehicle maintenance.
Ensuring availability of all necessary documents and supplies, including vehicle insurance, vehicle and fuel logs, office directory, maps, first aid kit and spare parts
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
At least 12 years work experience in a similar position with at least 5 years driving in Abuja.
Must be familiar with roads within the entire country.
Must Possess a valid Drivers’ License
Must be calm, courteous and professional
Possess initiative, a positive attitude and have strong value for loyalty
PREFERRED:
