OYO 2015: ‘I HAVEN’T STEPPED DOWN FOR TESLIM FOLARIN’ – SAYS ALAO-AKALA

Former Oyo State governor, and leading governorship aspirant in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, has said that he has not stepped down for former Senate leader, Senator Teslim Folarin. According to Alao-Akala:”It is a rumour, I have not stepped down for anybody and I do not think I am ready to do that no matter the circumstance. Those behind the rumour are doing so in order to heat up the polity. I will advise them to stop giving themselves false hope as the race for the party ticket is still on. And I want to categorically tell you that nobody has been given the party ticket and that simply means the race is still on. Oyo State should not be turned into a war zone because of politics. Politics should not be a do-or-die affair. It is a game which must be played maturely.”
