POLICEMEN VS TRANSPORT WORKERS RIOT AT LEKKI PHASE 1

There was serious riot in the early hours of today at Lekki Phase 1 between Okada Riders, Policemen and Drivers. The terrible situation has led to a total clamp down of commercial transportation movement within Lekki Phase 1, where no one can get an estate shuttle.

The fracas is as a result of the alleged assault and shooting of a bike man by a police officer which resulted into a fight that got the police officer severely injured.
