Make sound, look through, etc, most translations picked the chirping of birds but they were wrong. The peep of looking is more accurate even though they’re close”. All the time God talked about wizards, He was not concerned about their sound but their actions. God was talking about imaginations. They look in and try to give you pictures. God is talking about revelations, not about the sounds they make. They try to look into the realm of the spirit, demons imaginations and God says don’t listen to them. You need divine insights for things like this.
Pastor went further by quoting the book of Colossians 3:16 – Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. He said that there are different kinds of meetings, all kinds. There are pastoral meetings. If you are not in a church, you will not enjoy it. Submit to pastoral meetings and enjoy. Teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, etc, they come from prophetic gifts God has given. Most of all prophesy and strengthen one another. He didn’t say that we should desire to be prophets but to prophesy, the ministry of prophecies God gives are different. There’re differences. Let’s know our gifts and strengthen them or we may lose them.
Pastor gave an example that “if you’re not using the gift of prophecy, you’ll lose it and find it difficult to use them. You don’t just get up to use them anywhere and everywhere or you abuse the spiritual power. It’s got to be use rightly. If we have time, the whole church can prophesy one by one. He didn’t say that the whole church can heal one by one, etc”. According to him, the only time to judging the spirit of man is when the non Christian comes to our midst, not a Christian who has a problem. If you use the gift wrongly, people will start leaving the church. How can the gift of God in your life lead to decrease in the people God has given you?
He referenced the book of Zechariah 10:1 – Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to everyone grass in the field. Everyone can be blessed. Latter rain is the time before the harvest. Early rain is the rain before the seed time. Latter rain is the one before the Master comes back for the harvest. He will pour out His spirit. The Holy Ghost feels in the house of Cornelius. The spirit of God falls like rain. Same spirit that lives in you puts anointing on you for what He calls you to do. How much of it is on you for what He’s called you to do. You’ve got to learn that. You’ve got an anointing from God, it’s in you. You’ve got to know how to be faithful to increase it. He lives in you and you can be full with the spirit of God. You can’t increase that. The one in your life for your ministry can be increased.
Psalms 92:10 – But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil
Horn is power and authority he said. “It’s not the freshness of the oil but the anointing. He’s being anointed afresh with oil. It’s poetry in prophesy, “Fresh anointing”. David had three anointing. He was anointed before his brothers, in Judea and before all Israel, until the time came when he was anointed before all Judea and then all Israel. You want to do more, that anointing needs to be increased. That’s why you require faithfulness and He will cause a new anointing to come on you. Pastor then asked, if you can’t watch and pray over 50, who will commit 500 to you. You can’t command it. You have to walk in it. Thank you Lord Jesus. We’ve got communications through the spirit. They come from the spirit and at meetings like this we have to yield ourselves to them to cooperate, to work. Very serious now. He said my horn thou shall exalt like the horn of the unicorn.
The Holy Spirit was sent to us to bless us, not to strike us. … That we might receive the promise of Abraham through faith. It’s a blessing. “There are diversities of meetings. He answers prayers in prayer meetings, healings in healing meetings. This meeting also has its purpose, to increase the manifestations of God in your life. He increases your wisdom and you’re wiser than before. Wisdom. It’s an impartation of God’s spirit. The anointing can cause what no amount of study can give”.
Pastor maintained that there’s got to be a response for the word of God otherwise nothing will happen. There is a way to receive. Zachariah and Mary received the same message, but Mary said be it unto me according to your word… That was the connection. There’s got to be a response or the blessing will go away.
A lady not too far from me said she wanted a son, an angel brought one, but when she doubted, the angel went away with the baby. That was two years ago. It happened. It was weighing on her heart. She felt she lost something she asked God for. Where’s the lady, you can raise your hand. The spirit of God knows each one of us. No introduction required every cell of your physical body. He came for our good. To bless you. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. He came to bless you. Lift your hand toward heaven. Magnify God. Hallelujah. Amen. Glory to God. Jesus loves you and so do I. Pastor added that teaching and admonishing one another is a blessing. So we can uplift one another and watch us make progress. Ten years after, some hardly make progress. Why are they like that? Not taking advantage of what God has provided. When the Holy Ghost meets you, He alters the circumstances or raises you above them. You’re not any wiser, bigger, etc, many are in churches, not taking advantage of the word of God, my life is upward and forward always continually. I’m on a Holy Ghost flight.
“I’m blessed. If you’re blessed, it’s progress. I’m getting greater by the day. You can get home tonight, look at yourself in the mirror and say this guy is going somewhere. I’m headed somewhere through the power of the spirit. It’s by the anointing. Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world. Even though it’s written in the bible, you’ve got to say it. Yes Sir! Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world. Respond to God. Glory to God. Hallelujah”.
The anointing can cause the bad habits to cease in your life. The anointing, the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. That’s how we make people soul winners in church. Some will not become soul winners until the anointing comes upon them like it happened to Saul and he was turned into another man and prophesied. Pastor noted that his life was a timid boy with full of fear until that anointing came and he looked for his fears and couldn’t find them. Since that day… The spirit of God came upon David from that day forward. With that faith David made a lot of moves, but, when that anointing came, he became another man.
“Move to another level submits your mind and your emotions. Increase the power on you. Submit your emotions and your mind. Your spirit, your whole mind and emotions and body and now you can’t stand still anymore. You’re trying to stop but you can’t. You have seen it in church.
Progressively increase. Start learning to get soaked in the spirit. Elijah outran horses. Pastor prays on his bed and runs out shouting “I’ve got the victory”. The anointing is working. Favour. What we had was the prophetic word and that same Spirit.
