Born to a Fulani father and a Scottish mother, Binta Sukai was the first northern lady to be crowned Miss Nigeria in 1990. A mother of 1, she has a fashion line abroad which she intends expanding to Nigeria soon. In a recent interview, when asked if motherhood has changed her, Binta said, “It has definitely brought me closer to God. I’d say that I am a lot happier, more grounded and more focused now.” Revealing her beauty secret, she added that,”The secret is contentment. I am very happy where I am at now in my life and I have peace of mind.”
