LAGOS 2015: AKINWUNMI AMBODE’s RUNNING MATE, 5 NAMES EMERGE

Following Akinwunmi Ambode’s emergence as the Lagos guber candidate for All Progressives Congress in the 2015 election, reports are rife that 5 people are being tipped for the deputy governor position. Ambode’s running mate is expected to be a Muslim since he is a Christian. The 5 persons being considered as his running mate are the Imam of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Abdulateef Abdulhakeem; the Special Adviser to the Governor on Works and Infrastructure, Ganiyu Johnson; the current Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Idayat Adebule; former chairman of the Lagos Island Local Government, Wasiu Eshilokun; and current Commissioner for the Environment, Mr. Tunji Bello.
