At the last edition of African Movie Academy Awards held in Yenegoa, Bayelsa state of Nigeria, the CEO, Peace Ayiam-Osigwe announced her intention to step aside as the CEO of the academy after ten years of reign. Speculations flew around as to why she was making the decision, some labeled a bad illness to it, others said it could be centered around her breakup with her ex-husband.
Family Member and Relative of hers’, His Excellency [Nze] Michael Chibuzo Anyiam- Osigwe, passed on, on the 29th of November, 2014. The 55 years old man was the the Coordinator General of the Osigwe Anyiam Osigwe Foundation, the Honorary Consul of Republic of Malawi to Nigeria, and the backbone of the Africa Movie Academy Award.
His Rites of passage would transcend over a span of 7 days with the Service of songs to hold onTuesday December 16, 2014 at the Catholic Church of the presentation, 21, Oba Akinjobi Street, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos from 5pm to 7pm.
The Funeral Mass would commence by 10am on Thursday December 18, 2014 at St Dominic Catholic Church, Yaba, Lagos. Requiem Mass stated for Friday, the 19th of December, 2014 would be conducted at St Thomas Catholic Church, Nkwerre, Imo State with the program starting by 11am after which, theInterment would follow immediately at the Family Compound in Ukwuinyi, Nkwerre, Imo State and afterwards the Reception at the same venue.
The Rites would be concluded with a Thanksgiving Service at Corse De La Maria Catholic Chapel, Ukwuinyi, Nkwerre, Imo State by11am.
