OGUN DEPUTY GOVERNOR DUMPS APC, DECLARES GUBERNATORIAL AMBITION

The Ogun State deputy governor, Mr. Segun Adesegun, has declared his governorship ambition on Thursday on the platform of the Social Democratic Party(SDP). This is following his principal, Senator Ibikunle Amosun’s win at the Ogun State guber primaries where the governor polled 3,861 votes, in a contest where he is the sole aspirant. Adesegun, while declaring his governorship ambition, said: “I want to formally inform you today that I have formally joined the Social Democratic Party, where I will contest as one of the governorship flagbearers. Today, I have with me some leaders of the party. We have gone round the 20 local governments in the state, and I am happy with the response from the people. I believe the party will move the state forward.”
