Former Super Eagles star, now Sports Consultant,F.I.F.A Tech. Member,Ambassador & instructor,Pro. licensed Coach, Sunday Oliseh was one of the speakers at the just-held TEDxEuston 2014. Speaking on his success story and other interesting issues, Oliseh disclosed why he hasn’t shown interest in coaching the Nigerian national team(Super Eagles),according to him, “I wanna live long”.
On why some footballers go broke, Oliseh revealed that “Footballers retire before age 35. 75% of them go broke. Education is therefore necessary 2 manage time and wealth.You are as rich as what you save.” It was at the event the former soccer star revealed so many things about himself. He is a polyglot – he speaks English, French, German, Deutsch, and Italian languages fluently. His middle name is Ogochukwu but he is not Igbo. And in closing, he added that,” The best thing God ever did for me was to make me an African”.
