1. DAVIDO & WIZKID PARTY TOGETHER.
What seemed like a “Never-will-happen” situation has finally defiled it’s own rule as Top Music stars DavidO and Wizkid, who have had what seems to be the biggest rift in the Nigerian Music Industry were spotted partying together at the birthday party of HKN Chairman, Adewale Adeleke, who also happens to be DavidO’s elder brother. The EME Crew were also present to celebrate the birthday of their soulful singer, Niyola. All things went well, as members of both labels celebrated together on a table. Wizkid and DavidO also took pictures together. We pray this re-union lasts a while.
2. PATORANKING’S INSPIRING SPEECH AT THE HEADIES 2014.
When the first Grass to Grace story of buzzing Dancehall/Reggae artist, Patoranking did hit the air, Nigerians were shocked to notice that the #WhatYaSay crooner had once slept under bridges in Ghana.
In the just concluded Headies Award, Patoranking further revealed other Grass to Grace stories with a remarkably inspiring speech to honour his Award as the Next Rated artist in Nigeria for the year 2014. Quoted below is his full speech.
“When I sang ” When I moved from nothing to something, that is my story…I meant it..I would like to say something..2 years ago, I was living in a one room, now,i’m living (crowd cheered…Lekki) somewhere around. He then decided to speak in pidgin English and said.. “If I tell you say I be dey sell rat killer, you go believe? If I tell you say I do bricklayer for Lagos you go believe? Don’t let anyone stop you from achieving your dreams”.
After his tearful speech, he got a standing ovation from the audience.
3. D’BANJ’S KOKO GARRI NOW SELLS FOR 5000 NAIRA.
What was termed a joke by fans in March 2014, now seems to have had fans dropping their jaws in amazement at the price that the Tongolo crooner has attached to his new product, The Koko Garri.
The product details on Koko garri as available on Konga.com reads: ‘Koko garri is made from fresh cassava tubers, very fine grain. Ideal for drinking or making eba, (solid food). The carton has 18 packs of the 1kg pack as shown in the picture. The individual packs can be used as gifts individually or in gift baskets during this festive period. They are ideal for traveling, taking a little of home away from home. Indeed one of the best Ijebu garri.’

4. SINGER, CHIDINMA EKILE LOSES DAD.
Just a few weeks ago, the Capital/Gorretti singer released a special track for her mother, where she highlighted the struggles her mum went through when she was born blind.
Its saddening that just a few weeks after such sincere creativity, the petite singer had to lose her dad.
The 23 year old MTN Project Fame 2010 winner is yet to say a word about it but she posted some tweets in the last few days, urging fans to pray for her family.
5. THE CONTROVERSIAL NEWS ON UCHE JOMBO LOSING HER PREGNANCY.
When the news about Abiriba, Abia state born popular actress, Uche Jombo Rodrigues losing her pregnancy broke online, a lot of bloggers were quick to carry the story and fans were prompt to extend their condolences to the prolific actress and film-maker. She later took to twitter to express a down-felt mood that did depict she wasnt happy about the false news and the multiple sorry in her mailbox from fans and well-wishers, most especially the panic her family suffered as it seems the actress is pregnant again.
