Yobel Integrated Services Limited is recruiting to fill the position of :

BUSINESS ANALYST

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the client entity in the construction of its’ IS resource requirements forecast and IS budget and incorporate such into the departmental budget
Provide business analysis services to client entities, aimed at identifying and implementing IS solutions
Assist the requesting entity in searching for and acquiring new software, while making sure that this software can be integrated in the company's environment
Supervise the development of new software or software interfaces; Follow-up the maintenance of existing applications for the client entity
Identify and define the interface between existing and/or new systems inside and outside the Client entity IS, ensuring the coherence of new components of the IS with the existing ones
Ensure that all solutions/projects are.
Lead significant business/ user related projects, carrying out initial analysis and documentation of requirements and the coordination of solution development, deployment and integration
Coordinate the activities of all IT entities, in order to ensure, on behalf of their client business entities the effective operational maintenance and support of existing IT systems and services they use
Ensures that IT activities within the client business entities are carried out with the minimum of disruption to the business entity processes and activities.

QUALIFICATIONS
B.Sc. degree in an IS/IT related subject. An M.Sc. also in a related discipline will be an added advantage
A minimum of 5 years working experience in an oil and gas organization
Proficient in scripting, using VBScript, .Net
Versatile in Microsoft Windows environment, both Server and Desktop OS (Windows 2003 - 2012; Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8)
Knowledgeable about Data Storage systems using Netapp, with understanding of Oracle and SQL
Good understanding of networking protocols in the Windows and Linux environment
Relevant certifications is a major criteria
