The Nasarawa State Governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura,who was rumoured dead, returned to the state after a week-long trip abroad. Al-Makura travelled to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, proceeded to the United Kingdom (UK) for medical check-up and later went to the United States where he attended the child naming of his granddaughter. It was during his stay in the UK that there were rumours that he had died in hospital, which Government House officials debunked. Al-Makura arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja yesterday and proceeded to Nasarawa State where he was received at Mararaba, the gateway into the state, by his teeming supporters led by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG),Hajiya Zainab Ahmed and some commissioners.
