President Goodluck Jonathan was in Niger State yesterday for the PDP presidential campaign rally. The president also paid a courtesy call on former Head of State, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida(retd.) at his Hilltop residence in Minna, Niger State. In his remarks, the ex-Head of State said, “Jonathan & I share a common passion which is to ensure Nigeria remains strong, united & indivisible.Nigeria under Jonathan is in safe hands.All the Presidents that this country has produced..do come to us for blessing & today I will offer this blessing to you.”
