GENERATION MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the power plant and associated equipment, infrastructure and systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
•Ensuring the normal run on a 24 hour schedule of Operators duty of monitoring the performance of the plant and auxiliary equipment.
•Ensuring that the operators are acting on directives from the National Control Centre, verifying that generators are properly set up and are synchronized to the National Grid.
•Verifying that Operators are preparing correctly the protection guarantee certificates for workmen to work on equipment.
•Assisting the creation of a training strategy based on the requirements for the proper operation of the Power Plant.
•Ensuring that the Operators render daily, monthly and annual energy summaries and submit these to the National Control Centre.
This is a site-based, Single Status position and is open to International applicants.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To succeed in this role you should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, and experience in operating Hydro PowerPlants. You will have experience using SCADA systems and performing RCM analyses.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
•Experience in operating Hydro Power Plants

•Experience performing RCM analyses
PLANNING MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for the efficient management of the Planned Maintenance Program for the mechanical, electrical, PCM and auxiliary equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
•Developing a 24 month Maintenance Plan in accordance with the RCM studies developed for Maintenance Management, which include day to day maintenance and overhauls.
. Ensuring parts, consumables and expertise is available as scheduled.
• Establishing controls to ensure all equipment history logs are maintained.
• Ensuring continuous improvement of service delivery by utilization of systems to plan and control the flow of maintenance work and record for compliance and equipment history purposes.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To succeed in this role you should have a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, and experience in planning and scheduling in Hydro Power Plants. You will have experience in reviewing and determining equipment condition and point of equipment component in its life cycle.
