Why l renamed Irrigation Project After PDP Minister Of Agriculture- Gov. Kwakwanso

Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwakwanso of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday, February 13, 2015 surprised many when he honoured the Minister of Agriculture, Akin Adesina of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by naming a 100-hectare irrigation farm after him.

The Governor explained that he named the Magaga Irrigation project after the Minister because of his contribution to the welfare of farmers in the state.

The irrigation project is expected to boast food production in the country, as well as provide employment for thousands of youths especially those from Kabo and Gwarzo Local Government Area.
