Dr. Bisola Sodipo-Clark, the Ogun Central senatorial candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, narrowly escaped death on Tuesday evening when suspected thugs attacked her campaign train in Abeokuta. She was said to be attending a meeting of Wards 10, 11 and 12 of the party in Totoro area of the town on the fateful evening when the thugs invaded the venue and launched an attack. Speaking with journalists, Sodipo-Clark noted that she has reported the incident to the police and the directorate of state security services, adding that, “The attack will not cage me in any form.”
