So if Nollywood were to come up with their version of the ‘Empire’, would you watch?

Daniels and Danny Strong’s breakout hip hop drama is changing the TV game and the people’s perception, making Wednesday night one to look forward to.

It currently holds the position for the highest rated TV show of all time since Shonda Rhimes’ Grey’s Anatomy. The finale alone brought about over 11.3 million people viewing it.
So yesterday, a music journalism student @ImaniDH,  put together a Nollywood Empire cast, let’s see if you agree 

For the take no nonsense outspoken Cookie Lyon, she chose Funke Akindele, adding, the Jenifaactress ‘would actually slay Cookie’s role though.

 

For Lucious Lyon, played by Terrence Howard, Ghanaian actor Van Vicker was chosen … perhaps Ramsey Nouah could also play him?

As Cookie’s boyfriend and Empire’s former head of security Malcolm Deveaux, she replaced Derek Luke with Emeka Ike.

Last but certainly not least is Eniola Badmus as Gabby Sidibe.
