Tambuwal’s security aides restored five months after

The security detail of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Aminu Tambuwal, by the Department of State Security (DSS), has been restored.

It would be recalled that DSS personnels were withdrawn following Tambuwal’s switch from the Peoples Democratic Party to the main opposition, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Spokesperson of the speaker, Imam Imam, confirmed that the security details were restored on Wednesday evening, stressing that, it was only the DSS that had restored its men earlier withdrawn from the Speaker.

The Sergeant-at-Arms, the security arm of the National Assembly, served as his detail during the absence of the official security details.
