Traffic advisory as APC holds a mega political rally today in Lekki area

We have been informed that one of the political parties, The All Progressives Congress (APC), is currently holding a mega political rally today, Tuesday, 10 March, 2015 started around 10:00a.m around Chisco area (3rd roundabout from Admiralty tool gate), Ikate, Lekki/Epe expressway.

The rally is expected to attract huge human and vehicular traffic around Lagos, especially in Lekki and Victoria Island axis. We anticipate significant traffic disruptions on all routes leading to and out of the area throughout the day. Personnel are advised to plan their movement and make use of alternative routes where possible.

For personnel living in Lekki axis and other impacted areas, it is advised that you review your work schedule with your supervisors and managers to include the consideration for working from home on Tuesday, March 10. The security team will be monitoring the event and will provide updates as necessary.
