ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION
Ensure that all company assets, tools and the environment of the Company are maintained to the highest quality standards and assist with the smooth running of the department.

QUALIFICATION
A Bachelor's Degree from a reputable institution with a minimum of Second Class, Upper Division.
3 years minimum experience
Professional certifications will also be an advantage.

PRODUCTION OPERATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION
Sets up and operates conventional and special purpose machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts by performing the following duties.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Operating and maintaining all types of heavy equipment
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
Translating the blueprints and dimensions on drawings to perform aligning, loading, operating, and other related tasks
Oiling and greasing the machines and ensuring their proper workability
Adjusting the operating speed and controlling the load of the machines
Arranging and setting up the material handling equipment and machineries
Monitoring the machine operations to see that the finished products and components are aptly matching with the quality and quantity constraints of the company
Providing minor specifications to upgrade the systems as required
Examining and discarding defective goods and packaging components
Replenishing, stocking, and sorting the packaging supplies
Loading and placing the prepared commodities in appropriate depot locations
Recalibrating and cleaning the machineries after completing the production activities
Maintaining a report of the total measure of goods manufactured per day
Performs routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.
Checking the newly installed machines for their efficiency and delivering a report for the same to the senior officials

PRODUCTION SHIFT SUPERVISOR

JOB DESCRIPTIONS
To manage the shift and all direct staff; ensure the smooth running of the production process. Ensure that all products are produced to the specified specifications.
Target and deadlines are met to achieve the orders.
Ensure that all direct staff comply with the company's Health and Safety procedures

RESPONSIBILITIES
To take full responsibility of the shift in terms of management of staff, management of production and quality targets and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes
To take full responsibility of the quality and product that is produced within the shift in line with the companies quality systems, processes and procedures
Manage, develop and motivate direct reporting staff
Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance, general issues
To ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all members of staff
To ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the companies Health and Safety policy
Problem solving and troubling shooting skills are used to ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the problems in hand
To work closely with other Shift Supervisors to ensure production handovers are effective communications tools
To ensure that the training skills are met for current and future demands of the shift
To have an active role in the companies continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company
Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace
All employees are responsible for ensuring company resources are used in an effective manner to ensure best operating costs
Be able to make appropriate decisions while following the companies organisational structure
Maintaining high level of timekeeping is of the essence.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.

JOB DUTIES
Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs; applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods; testing properties.
Develops mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; soliciting observations from operators.
Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special services.
Maintains system and product data base by writing computer programs and entering data.
Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

LABORATORY ANALYST / ASSISTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES
Performing laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations;
Carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses;
Preparing specimens and samples;
Constructing, maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment, for example centrifuges, titrators, pipetting machines and pH meters;
Ensuring the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced;
Recording and sometimes interpreting results to present to senior colleagues;
Keeping up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability;
Conducting searches on identified topics relevant to the research;
Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks.
