Elesho loses mother

Popular comic actor, Elesho, is certainly not in the mood to crack jokes now as he is currently mourning the death of his beloved mother. The actor who is the second child of his late mother, told Saturday Beats that the woman died at the age of 94.

With an emotional-laden voice, the actor told Saturday Beats that he would miss his mother’s advice and prayers.

“My mother died last week Friday after a brief illness. After she completed her fast, she called me to inform me that she was feeling weak. After reminding her of my warning against fasting at such old age, I immediately called a doctor to go and attend to her. After the doctor checked her, she responded to treatment. I told our last born, Sikirat, to go and stay with her while I supported financially. On Friday, I got a call from my sister that my mother’s temperature was high. Immediately, I told her to send for the doctor but I was told that my mother died after holding my sister’s hand and praying for everybody.

“I would miss my mother’s advice. She always told me to be patient. One of her favourite advice was that all that glitters is not gold. She often said that one should take life easy to enjoy it. She taught her children to be contented with whatever we have. Anytime we spoke on phone, she always prayed for me and my family before we discussed,” he said.
