“I caught my pastor-husband having sex with a church member” – Housewife tells court

Mrs Doris Oseni, a 42-year-old housewife, has told an Ondo Customary Court in Ondo town, Ondo State that she caught her husband of 12 years, Prophet Femi Oseni, on the floor of the church office, having sex with another woman. For this the woman, who is also an evangelist, is asking the court to dissolve her marriage on the ground of adultery, desertion and lack of love on the part of the husband.  Doris said her husband’s behaviour towards her changed after 7 years of their marriage with no child, adding that since then, he had been reportedly sleeping around with different women, most of whom were members of his congregation. Doris also accused the husband of having a child out of wedlock, who she said was a product of his extra-marital affairs. In his ruling the President of the Court, Joshua Adunbi, said from the woman’s words and body language, it showed she was tired of the marriage, therefore ordering for the dissolution of the marriage.
