The Lagos State Deputy-Governor, Princess Adejoke Adefulire, has warned women in the state against indecent dressing, saying henceforth anyone found exposing parts of the body which should rather be covered will be arrested.
The deputy governor has also advocated life sentence without option of fine for rapists, lamenting that rape cases are on the increase, not only in Lagos but the country as a whole.
Adefulire, speaking at an event to mark the 2014 International Day of the African Child, condemned single and married women who dress indecently, saying their attitude has contributed to the increase in number of rape cases.
