RISK MANAGERS

JOB DESCRIPTION
Identification and description of risk with respect of qualitative and quantitative risks.
Identifying the risks for the organization whether it is internal or external.
Evaluation of risk in order to compare estimated risk with average risk estimated by the administration.
Find out the number of control measures to minimise the threats of risks in order to help the company.
Provide a direction with minimum risk to the organization.
Treatment of risk in an efficient and effective manner by picking and applying measures to regulate and mitigate risks.
Observing and looking over processes in order to ensure the place of risk and compliance schedules.
Design and develop risk mitigating plans and programs, policies and procedures in order to neutralize and minimize effect of threats and reduce inevitable risks and losses.
Evaluate the insurance options in protecting corporate asset by maintaining coordination with the Legal Department when addressing risks of litigation.
Identify the requirements and then recommend internal controls and avoidance procedures whenever applicable.
Awareness of all the risks such as the business can absorb without incurring serious losses, whether in money, people and reputation.
SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
Detail oriented, conscientious and systematic with a high level of accuracy to do the job.
Ability to work for the long hours to set deadlines.
High level of patience to delve into deeper levels of analysis.
Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with high level decision makers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A good university degree and must have done post graduate courses in business management and accounting field.
Must be good with Risk Evaluation and Loan Evaluation/Booking of loans.
Applicants must have worked in Risk/Credit Departments of Microfinance banks, Savings and loans, Mortgage Banks.
Applicants must not be more than 35, Male preferably
Applicants must have certifications in Risk management and also have the required computer knowledge and literacy with spreadsheets and word processing.
HEAD OF FINANCE

JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide leadership and strategic direction to the company’s financial and performance measurement strategies
Lead the team responsible for the day to day financial and administration services of the company
Ensure that an appropriate financial policy framework is in place, including policies on reserves and investments.
Ensure that the appropriate processes are in place to maintain the long-term financial viability, advising the Chief Executive and Trustees on the financial consequences of proposed actions.
Lead the Company’s strategy, planning and budgeting processes, ensuring strong processes are in place for resource allocation.
Prepare and provide regular management accounts and financial forecasts to senior management and Trustees.
Ensure that appropriate risk management techniques and financial controls are embedded throughout the company, at strategic and operational levels.
Oversee the management of investments, providing analysis and reports to the Finance and Investment Committee and liaising with investment managers.
Ensure cash resources are managed efficiently.
Direct the preparation of the statutory annual accounts.
Ensure that appropriate records are maintained to meet legal and tax requirement

Must be a chartered Accountant

Must be sound in the applications of IFRS standard
Applicants must have relevant professional certifications and trainings
