DOCKMASTER
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Dockmaster will manage the two floating docks of the shipyard. He will be working with repair managers and the ship crew to ensure proper condition of vessel for docking.
More specifically, he will be responsible for:
Assuming responsibility for vessel, floating dock, adjacent facilities and personnel during docking operations, and while vessel is docked.
Performing the docking operations.
Coordination of activities with Project Managers to establish dock schedules and maximize dock use.
Ensuring that dry dock operations are conducted in compliance with company safety and environmental policies and practices.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate for this role must:
Have a previous experience of several years as a floating dockmaster.
The relevant technics and skills of docking/undocking.
Be proficient in dealing with customers and appreciate team work.
Be fluent in English.
OFFER
The remunerations and conditions attached to this role are
An attractive annual salary (negotiable).
An expatriate contract with 60/60 days rotation on single status, three return airplane tickets per annum.
