NEW EMIR OF KANO MAY RELOCATE TODAY!

With the removal of the security blockade around the palatial palace yesterday at about 6.30pm, there are indications that HRH Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi may relocate to the palace today.

Recall the palace was sealed when the emir was about to relocate there, and as a result, he had to hold court at the Kano State Government House that is being guarded by vigilantes and Hisbah men.

There are however reports that top Northern elders mounted pressure on President Goodluck Jonathan who approved the withdrawal of the security operatives around the palace. According to the elders, sealing the palace indefinitely may cause mayhem in the city.
