ENTERTAINMENT EXPRESS TO HONOUR AKPABIO, ADENUGA!

All is set for the third edition of Entertainment Express’ Anniversary Bash and Awards Nite, which holds on Sunday, July 27, at the Niteshift Coliseum, Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos.

And on the roll call of honourees is Globacom boss, Mike Adenuga, who will be decorated with Nigeria’s Entertainment Pillar of the Decade Award.

Commenting, Azuh Amatus, Editor, Entertainment Express, disclosed that four corporate brands have also been singled out for honours at the awards night.

“ESA 2014 is basically to celebrate the very best as well as some corporate brands aiding the growth of entertainment in our nation. Come party with us and celebrate with the stars. Red Carpet starts at 5.p.m,” said Azuh.

Meanwhile, a total of 17 entertainers will be recognized and rewarded. The six Nollywood stars already nominated for ESA Recognition Trophy are Stephanie Okereke-Linus, Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki), Osita Iheme (Pawpaw), Jide Kosoko, Tope Tadela and Lizzy Gold. Others are Davido, Tiwa Savage, Omawumi, Yemi Sax, Oritse Femi, Phyno and Patoranking.

For their contributions to the growth of comedy, Opa Williams, Ali Baba, AY and Elenu will also be honoured while Ken Calebs Olumense will receive the ESA Lifetime Achievement Trophy. The platform will also honour Akwa-Ibom State governor, Godswill Akpabio.
