Former military head of state and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari, survived a bomb blast around Kawo District in Kaduna City Wednesday as his convoy got caught in the second blast that rocked the city around mid day.
His media aide, Mallam Yau Darazo told news website The Cable that the retired soldier escaped unhurt but his vehicle completely damaged.
The state Governor, Mr. Muktar Yero has declared a 24-hour curfew in the city following the blasts that killed many persons.
