It has been 4 grueling years since he lost his wife, Clara to the dreaded cancer disease at an Abuja Clinic at the age of 54 and the man at the helms of affairs in Edo State has remained resolute not to take a new wife, at least not so soon after his wife’s death. But there are strong indications that the former Labour leader may have tied the knot secretly to evade the prying eyes of the media and the general public. At one of the legs of a recent 50th birthday party of a socialite, the governor was not only in attendance, he had as company, a pretty woman whom he introduced to a few guests at the party. The lady in question, an Edo State indigene who is a law graduate is said to be a frequent visitor at the Edo State house . Now not a few people are amused about why his taking a new wife was shrouded in secrecy, (if it has been done) if he has indeed tied the knot as some close family members, friends and even some of the staff at the government house, are unaware of the lady’s status.
