Operatives of the Kwara State Police Command has discovered an uncompleted building believed to be used by people who deal in the sale of human parts along the Airport/Eyenkorin road near NASFAT Village, a suburb of Ilorin, the state capital.
Briefing newsmen yesterday, the Kwara State Commissioner of Police said, “The command’s special undercover agents on June 28 at about 0700hrs while acting on intelligence report discovered the hide-out for criminals dealing in human parts".
"When we visited the place, we discovered a bizarre scenario. Among the items recovered is decomposed headless body, human feet, snail shells and clothes suspected to be used in strangulating their victims".
"I think that place is used as a market where people who are involved in ritual activities buy human parts, investigation is still going”. Aisabor however said no arrest had been made in connection with the discovery but an 85-year old woman who owns the building is being interrogated".
