For those who have forgotten who Alhaji  Rasak Gawat is , let us quickly refresh your memory about  the renowned T.V presenter. Alhaji Gawat is the popular Presenter on NTA who was declared missing on Sunday 7th, July 2012, and since then, his whereabouts remain unknown.

Ever since then, no one has a clue into his whereabouts. Every effort made to find the ‘Edi De Ejisari’ presenter by Lagos State Government, security operatives, fans and well-wishers came to naught. Till this present moment, everyone is still in dilemma as to the whereabouts of Alhaji Gawat and various speculations have been peddled around town. While some have lost hope of finding him, some perhaps, still have a glimmer of hope that Alhaji Gawat is still very much alive and could be found anytime, any day.

However, the well loved presenter, unknown to many has a daughter who is making waves in the music industry. She is  Alhaja Rukayat Gawat Oyefeso, a talented Islamic singer. She is the first daughter of the popular T.V personality. Rukayat Gawat Oyefeso is one of the wave-making Islamic musicians rocking the music industry at the moment. She is very good at what she does. She has performed at several big Islamic functions, and has few interesting musical albums to her credit. The singer is married to the M.D of Staco Insurance Plc, Alhaji Shakiri Oyefeso, a native of Ijebu Aiyepe.
