FANS BLAST DON JAZZY OVER ALS ICE WATER CHALLENGE!

The ALS Ice Water challenge has been trending in various countries across the world and its aim is to raise awareness and money for victims of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.

The ice water challenge involves being nominated by a person, and then you pour a bucket filled with water and ice on your body and challenge someone else. It is either you accept the challenge or decline and pay some amount for victims of ALS.

It might not sound like a big deal in Nigeria because of the hot weather but in other countries where the weather is a bit cold, it is a big challenge.

Most times people accept both the challenge and also donate towards the cause as the likes of Bill Gates, George Bush, Oprah Winfrey, Mark Zuckerberg, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo have done.

It seems Mavin Record boss, Don Jazzy, wants to feel as important as these stars. He too, decided to be a part of the ALS Ice Water challenge even though nobody challenged him.

Jazzy posted the picture of Bill Gates’ challenge on his Facebook page and also a picture of himself. Jazzy was wearing a free-flowing agbada during the challenge.

Fans were quick to notice and they aired their opinions. Some of his fans posted on his page, “Do these guys really know what ALS stands for and the prognosis? Mr. Follow Follow! You should be pouring an ice bucket to summon support for the accelerated eradication of Ebola before it hits your neighborhood, bunch of moronic and ignorant copy cats. That’s why the country is a failed state.”

Another wrote “Follow follow, I guess Don Jazzy don’t even know the reason behind this ice bucket challenge, ‘I saw people doing it let me join them’.”

Another fan saw it as mere silliness and made sure she expressed her feelings by simply posting ‘silly’ on his wall.

Some also queried him on who nominated him. A fan posted, “What is this for? Must our own be different? DJ, did not say anything, just sit and dem pour am water. Maybe na warm water. Haba! I saw that of Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and Oprah Winfrey. I heard them saying who challenged them and the objective for the action…Don Jazzy, who challenged you? In short, I challenge you to do it right. Make sure it is ice cold.”
