FULL STORY of how a popular Nollywood Actress, Maureen Ihua was kidnapped & released

Heavily armed kidnappers plied their evil trade in Rivers State on November 17, 2015, abducting popular Nollywood Actress, Maureen Ihua. According to an insider, who spoke with Dejioflagos.com, Maureen Ihua, unarguably one of the most popular names in the nation’s movie industry, was abducted on last Tuesday night at the entrance of her house on Ada George Road in Port Harcourt.

Speaking further, the source who pleaded anonymity disclosed that the abductors were intially demanding for N10 million ransom but later settled for the sum of N5 million that was paid before her release on Thursday night, 19th November.

It was gathered that Maureen's abdutors tied her to a tree and was seriously beating while some photographs displaying how she was being tortured were sent to her husband.  

Maureen Ihua, from Rivers State, gained prominence in acting in 2009 with her superb role in Onye-Eze’s blockbuster – Honest Deceiver, a love affairs movie that has grossed over a million copies. She has acted in over 100 Nollywood movies, in a successful career spanning over 2 decades.
