FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA TO SELL 2 BANKS!

AMCON SETS TO SELL MAINSTREET AND ENTERPRISE BANKSIDE!

The Assets Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON)  is in the process of selling Mainstreet Bank Limited, a bridge bank that acquired Afribank Plc. AMCON CEO, Mr. Mustafa Chike-Obi disclosed this in an interview sometime back that the process of selling Mainstreet Bank and Enterprise Bank, two of the three nationalised banks owned by the Federal Government, will be completed on or before September 15 this year. Chike-Obi also said that there will be no extension of the timeline given for prospective investors.
