The death has been announced of Mrs Funmilayo Adebayo, the wife of former governor of Kwara State/ex-Minister of Communications, Chief Cornelius Adebayo. The Adebayo matriarch, aged 65, died in a Lagos hospital after a protracted illness early Tuesday morning. In his condolence message to Chief Adebayo, Senator Bukola Saraki spoke through his media aide, Bamikole Omishore. According to him,“ This is, indeed, a sad development for us all, I can only imagine the void that her passing away will create for her husband, the children and the entire family”.
