These are really happy moments for respected police chief, Taiwo Lakanu. Yesterday, he was announced by the Nigeria Police as the new Commissioner of Police for Ekiti State with 20 other Police senior officers who were posted as Commissioners of Police to various states in the country. Taiwo Lakanu, who is also the Akogun of Lagos, was promoted a Commissioner of Police after successfully completing a strategic course at National Defence College, Abuja. Before his appointment as Ekiti State police Commissioner, he was the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Delta State. Lakanu is a lawyer with LLM Degree from Leeds University, England. He is happily married to Omowunmi and they are blessed with 2 kids.
