There are unconfirmed reports that some Chibok girls may have been released today. An online medium, Premium Times reports that “A top military source said two Toyota Hiace buses loaded with the girls were driven into the Maimalari Barracks in Maiduguri this evening”. Senator Bukola Saraki, on the news, tweeted,” Looking forward to read from @GENOlukolade or @MObanikoro that the story of some #Chibok girls released today is true. #BringBackOurGirls”. A radio presenter, Ayotunde Onabolu on Inspiration FM tweeted that Defence Headquarters Director of Information, “General Chris Olukolade confirmed the release of some of the abducted Chibok girls via a phone convo with my station @IFM923 at about 5pm.”
